Appraisals
The Lewis/Wara gallery appraises ethnographic artifacts on a per item basis. Our areas of speciality include Oceanic, African, Indonesian, and Pre-Columbian art.

The best appraisals are obtained by viewing the object. This requires that the piece be held in care of the gallery for the period of appraisal. Color photographs may be used, if they are accompanied by dimensions, distinguishing marks, and multiple angles of view.

On-site appraisals are available for large numbers of items, or for items whose weight or size prohibits transport to the gallery.

Fee schedule:

$75 per item for a formal written appraisal
